Corporate Social Responsibility isn’t just fancy corporate speak. Our commitment to giving something back
is something we’re proud of and that we do every single day.
Our work in this area has two focuses:
Making our environment better for the future: Minimising negative
environmental impact doesn’t stop with our own activities. Whilst we work hard to source sustainable
or recyclable materials, and refuse to stop looking for new and
better ways to improve our energy efficiency, water usage, waste disposal and
emissions to air, we also work with our clients, suppliers and subcontractors
to assist them in making the same, positive changes where possible.
Demonstrating support for our community: There’s rarely a day
that goes by when we aren’t doing something to support our local and play
communities. Some examples of this
include:
- Support of Children’s Hospices South West through a variety
of activities, including bake offs (yum), fancy dress days, raffles, members of
the team entering a 200 mile bike ride and a Tough Mudder, as well as, of
course, playground equipment donations.
- National Tree Week and Poppy Day promotions. We regularly support national weeks and
days with activities such as donating a percentage of our profits to the Poppy
Appeal and providing a free tree for schools ordering during
National Tree Week.
