How are they using the space to deliver outdoor learning and educational play?
The new scheme involved the installation of eight pieces of external gym equipment, for their KS2 pupils to use. Not only are these fun, they support them in developing their health and fitness as well as physical literacy and social skills, like turn-taking.

As a result we’ve been able to install a range of equipment that the children really enjoy. It’s used at playtimes as well as during PE lessons and has become a social area,where children are happy to gather and work out. Even the less sporty children are comfortable joining in with this new play area.”
