Glebe Academy
Glebe Academy in Stoke-on-Trent was filled with glee when the staff chose Playforce for their outdoor play makeover. The new play equipment, including the climbing frame and amazing tipi, utilised the play area and transformed it into a magical space for children to laugh and play. Even the circular tree benches were a big hit with the children - they told us it was a great space to talk with their friends! We fitted the playground with all-weather turf, making it the perfect place for Winter active play.
Djanogly Northgate Academy
This Nottinghamshire school is based in the inner city so outdoor play is a huge priority for them. The staff are big fans of encouraging the children to take risks outside within a safe environment. They wanted a space where children could get some fresh air come rain or shine. We introduced several music fence panels to whip up the children’s creativity, as well as sandpits and the ever-popular slide! The children told us their personal favourites are the bridge and the colourful island and sea floor design. All of the outdoor playground equipment is designed for use all year round - so the children always have an outside space to play in.
Aberdour School
Now we make our way down south to Aberdour School in Surrey! They were looking for ways to encourage active play for the children to promote a healthy lifestyle. The Woodland Climber proved a big hit with the children because it challenges their physical skills. We created a natural space where teachers can take children outside during the winter for lessons and story time.
Ashley Infant School
This Hampshire school are taking part in their very own “Active Challenge” which involves prioritising outdoor play! They called upon Playforce to help them design and build an outdoor play area that tests physical skills and improves fitness. We installed equipment designed to challenge the entire body, as well as challenge children at different levels. The school taught the children how to use the equipment to their advantage - and there’s been no looking back since!
