Without thoughtful playground design, it is unlikely that the play area will succeed. It is therefore hugely important that whatever play space is designed makes sure that the playground works for the children.
Playforce have designed playgrounds for schools and other organisations across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Our case studies hopefully show how our playground designers have been able to create imaginative and inspiring play spaces, in a wide variety of spaces.
DDA playground design
We realise that not all children are the same. Where appropriate, some playgrounds may need to be designed to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act to ensure that all children can be play without interference. Playforce can design playground where 'reasonable adjustments' need to be made, whether they are designed from new or in an existing space.
