A new playground is a major investment for any school or early years setting. Whether you’re adding to existing plans or starting from scratch, we think you should be able to rely on the same high levels of innovation, imagination, quality and professionalism at every step.
That means everything from the first phone call, through to our pioneering consultative approach, the wide range of products that are unique to Playforce, specialist fundraising expertise, full and detailed plans and quotes, professional installation teams and our qualified maintenance specialists. In short, you can trust us to be the best at every stage of the process.
Consultaion
We work hard to deliver more than just playground equipment. It’s important to us that we find out exactly what you want to achieve and tailor a solution, or series of solutions, geared towards achieving the very best for you and your children. From the word go, when you first get in touch, we’ll arrange a free consultation with one of our experienced Outdoor Grounds Consultants. They’ll visit your site, listen to your ideas and goals, take photographs and measure the relevant space. We’ll utilise this to come up with a tailored solution that goes beyond getting the playground installed and extends throughout the lifetime of the scheme.
Design
After your initial consultation, your personal Creative Playground Designer will take the Outdoor Grounds Consultant’s detailed sketch and turn it into a beautiful, vibrant 2D plan – tailored to your playground needs and objectives, as well as the latest (and highest) safety standards. They’ll use the photos and measurements taken during the consultation to make sure it’s totally relevant to your setting. For larger projects, or on request, we’ll produce a 3D plan, giving, a wonderful visual representation of how your new playground will look when finished. When everything has been drawn up we’ll send it to you, with a detailed quote and evidence of our track record (including references).
Products
Making playtime fun and educational isn’t something you buy off a shelf, as far as Playforce is concerned. It’s an ongoing process where we work every single day to create inspiring, innovative products that balance supporting physical development, emotional wellbeing and academic achievement, with the challenges of tight budgets. We’ve built a reputation for the very best quality and source our materials and products from suppliers that we know personally and can rely on. All of our products comply with the British and European standards EN1176 for Playground Equipment and EN1177 for Impact Absorbing Playground Surfacing and we’re a member of the Association of Play Industries. Combined with a dedication to sustainability and minimum waste you can rest assured our attention to detail is a process that never stops.
Installation
Our UK-wide installation teams are praised repeatedly for their expertise, dedication, and willingness to interact and answer the questions of inquisitive children. Not only are they all highly trained, and CRB checked, they are also selected for their attention to detail and professional approach. We work hard to ensure your installation progresses as planned, with minimal disruption to you, your pupils and your school. This means doing our very best to schedule it at a time that works for you, and making sure everyone knows what to expect when we arrive and start work. Above all we want to get your children playing as soon as possible!
Playforce Care
We use our understanding of the play and education sectors to put safety and quality at the forefront of everything we do. Our Playforce Care Manual, (which all of our customers receive after their install process has been completed) contains information about guarantees, as well as helpful advice on maintenance, and useful contact numbers should you need further support.
For full support and advice undertaken at your setting we recommend our customers choose one of our Playforce Care Inspection and Training packages. These provide you with the best training, advice and the most up-to-date health and safety information, delivered face-to-face at your setting by a full qualified RPII Inspector. The packages include: RPII Qualified Inspections; one-to-one specialist training, ensuring ongoing maintenance and safety to the Playground Standards EN1176/77; post-installation inspections; annual inspections.
Project Management
Since opening for business in the 90s, we’ve installed over 7000 playgrounds and recognise you have enough to do, without having to manage a playground project. That’s where we come in. Your personal Customer Account Manager and our Operations team will work together with you and your Outdoor Grounds Consultant to make sure everything is hassle-free. This covers everything from confirming plans and quotes through to arranging pre-installation assessments, confirming installation plans, and making sure everything happens on time and to budget. We’ll even work with you post-install to check everything is up to standard and to discuss longer-term training and maintenance.
