Fantastic Playground Equipment Fun for John Moore Primary School
'FANTASTIC' new playground equipment has been installed at The John Moore Primary School, Tewksbury, to the delight of pupils, parents and staff.The aim of fitting the fun new outdoor playground facilities was to increase and enhance learning and play opportunities and encourage physical exercise.
The adventure timber trail, which comprises a series of obstacles to test and develop the children's mental as well as physical abilities, was created by award-winning Playforce from neighbouring Wiltshire - a market leader in providing quality playground equipment.
Head teacher of the school, Sally King, said the whole school has benefited from the outdoor playground make-over, which has made every day a fun day at John Moore.
"It's fantastic!" said Miss King. "We gave the children the opportunity to be part of the design process through the Pupil Council and then after a detailed consultation with myself, Sam, our sales consultant, worked extremely hard to ensure that the ideas were tailored exactly to our requirements.
"I am absolutely delighted to have quality playground equipment, which has enhanced the learning and playing opportunities greatly for all our pupils. From the youngest to the oldest there is something to challenge them!"
