Why did you want to develop your playground?
The playground at Avishayes Primary School offered plenty of space for our 251 pupils but lacked any playtime challenge, excitement or play value. We wanted to explore ways of introducing more active play, inspire safe risk taking as well as improve fitness and well being. Developing a new playground allowed us to create unlimited opportunities for the children and meet each pupil’s needs.
What were the key elements that made Playforce stand out from other providers?
With Playforce there was no hard sell, the team were genuinely passionate about creating an outdoor learning environment for our school. They had an extremely professional approach, they were very efficient and keen to involve the children and staff at all stages.
