Pupils on the Ropes and They Love it
Going to school has never been so much fun for some Bedworth pupils after new playground equipment was installed in the Early Years Foundation Stage area by Playforce the UK’ premier provider of Playground equipment for schools.
Children at Newdigate Primary School and Nursery have been getting to grips with a timber trail of stepping platforms, rope bridges and a balance beam thanks to a massive fundraising effort.
It’s the latest project that the Friends of Newdigate have helped to fund.
Deputy head teacher Siobhan Marrow said the children absolutely love it they have been telling me lots of things, like its really tricky its exciting and good fun.
The playground equipment was supplied and installed during half term and its not just the children who have been enjoying it even the staff have been trying it out.
A new outdoor classroom has also appeared in the playground over the past few weeks after the school council friends of Newdigate, teaching assistants and teachers all worked together to secure grant funding from the county council.
Mrs Marrow said, the gazebo is superb and is here for parents to sit and wait for children at the end of the school day.
The children also love it and it has become a focus for them all to sit and chat to each other.
