Building Dream Playground Equipment in Village
Playforce has made play time more fun for children by teaming up with television show fronted by Linda Barker.
Following request from villagers where the programme was being filmed. Playforce playground equipment featured on ITV’s Building the Dream.
Residents in Witham Friary near Frome, were told by the production company making the show, that they would receive a present as a token thanks for putting up with the film crew for 14 weeks
The villagers opted for a Hand Made Play Tower designed and made by Playforce the UK’s premier provider of playground equipment.
The show then featured the timber – framed, stainless steel tower being installed.
The program showcases twelve UK couples living and working alongside each other to design, build and furnish a stunning dream home.
The catch? As the house goes up, the number of couples goes down. Those not pulling their weight are voted off by their fellow contestants. The series culminates in a head-to-head between the two remaining couples, as the viewers vote to decide which of them is given the keys to their new dream home.
The house is built in the picturesque village of Witham Friary, near Frome in Somerset. Designed by award-winning architect Angela Brady, with input from the couples, the house will be a contemporary aspirational home, fully in keeping with the local architecture.
During the 14-week series the contestants also helped construct the Playforce Play Tower.
Playforce installers led the construction and show host Linda Barker was on hand to offer encouragement and support.
