Playtime for pupils at West Buckland Primary School has just got better with the arrival of the new climbing frames and adventure timber trail playground equipment.
The schools PTA has spent the last two years tirelessly fund raising for the outdoor playground equipment until they reached their £6,700 target last month.
The playground equipment, which included a climbing wall and all weather surfacing was installed last week and officially opened by the PTA members on Monday afternoon. PTA chairman Alison Winter said “ The appeal to raises £6,700 for a small school and we are very grateful to everybody for their support over the last two years.”
