Playforce’s new local authority division has secured a contract with creative wooden play equipment manufacturer SIK-Holz to supply an exclusive range of products throughout the UK and Ireland.
The German company, which has been creating imaginative sculptures and products using robinia wood since 1988, is renowned for its unique and unusual designs and has been widely specified by local authorities for a number of years.
The new division of the market leading Playforce brand was launched in the spring with the aim of helping local authorities and community groups provide new play areas and repair, refresh and add to existing facilities easily and cost effectively.
TCL Group, Playforce’s parent company, has provided play installation services to local authorities for many years and has built vast experience of municipal play requirements throughout the UK.
It offers a cost effective, quality, in-house one-stop shop service which includes equipment, play consultancy, design, repair services and installation including surfacing.
The addition of the exclusive SIK-Holz range will expand the choices open to local authority and community group play equipment buyers – with its imaginative, aesthetically pleasing, quirky and cost effective designs particularly appropriate in natural settings.
